Accredited Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner

Bond Healthcare have an exciting opportunity for a Band 5 qualified IAPT Low Intensity Therapist (PWP) who is accredited with the British Association of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP). This role is part-time 15 hours per week and it is based in L'Derry area.

The successful candidate will be actively committed to developing their skills in a Clinical Health Psychology Service.

You will provide a Psychological Therapies Service to individuals with physical health difficulties. Those referred to the service may present with common mental health problems such as anxiety and depression, mainly of a mild to moderate severity and impact, primarily Steps 1 and 2 (Stepped Care).

You will deliver high volume, low intensity; evidence-based clinical interventions which will be short-term and primarily cognitive behavioural and self-management interventions. These will be delivered face to face, via the telephone and in a group format.

Criteria for this role:

IAPT Qualified Low Intensity Therapist (those due to qualify by end December 2018 will be considered)

 

AND

 

Accredited (or eligible to be accredited) with formal regulatory body such as BABCP as a PWP/LI worker

 

AND

 

A full current driving licence and access to a car is also essential.  Consideration will be given to alternative travelling proposals in respect of applicants with a disability who cannot hold a licence.

The successful applicants will be required to be in possession of a satisfactory Enhanced Access NI disclosure and Fit To Work certificate on commencement of assignment.
