Bond Recruitment is now hiring a Theatre Practitioner for one of Britain’s leading providers of private healthcare services in Nottingham.  The Theatre Practitioner will have the opportunity to join the Theatre Department, performing more complex surgery that any other private healthcare provider in the country. 


The ideal Theatre Practitioner should meet the following criteria:

  • Registered Practitioner with NMC or HCPC registration

  • Orthopaedic or cardiac desirable scrub

  • Punctual and reliable

  • Proficient in the use of a PC, including the use of software and systems.

  • Previous experience working within an acute healthcare environment. 

Main roles and responsibilities:

  • To support and assist in the management and organisation of care provision within the Operating Department.

  • To deliver safe quality care for patients during their perioperative stage of care

  • As a theatre Practitioner it would be expected that you support the team by providing additional training, mentoring, supervision and also assist all members of the team. 

  • Maintain knowledge of Health and Safety at Work Act. Ensuring appropriate measures are taken in respect of Health and Safety for patients, relatives, visitors, hospital staff and contractors
