In behalf of the NI Fire and Rescue Service, we are recruiting a Capital Build and Assets Coordinator for a full time, temporary assignment based at their headquarters in Lisburn. This post is for an initial 6 months with likely extension.
- Your role will be to provide strategic support and advice, to develop and deliver the Facilities Strategy; Support the development and implementation of the Property Asset Management Strategy and the delivery of a ‘fit for purpose’ estate.
- To be responsible for the management of capital projects, assets and infrastructure programmes, including co-ordination of activities across directorates and the effective and efficient delivery of the Capital Build & Asset function

You will have:
- Possess a Degree or equivalent level qualification in a relevant subject i.e. Construction; Building Surveying, Energy and Building Services Engineering, Planning and Property Development, Estates Management or equivalent;
and
- Have at least 3 years relevant post qualification experience within a facilities/estates management role.
OR
- Possess a HND/HNC or equivalent level qualification in a relevant subject eg. Construction; Building Surveying, Energy and Building Services Engineering, Planning and Property Development, Estates Management or equivalent;
and
- Have at least 4 years’ relevant post qualification experience within a facilities/estates management role.
OR
- Have at least 7 years’ experience within a facilities/estates management role.
- Demonstrate experience of successfully managing new build construction projects.
- Demonstrate experience of successful delivery of construction procurement and contract management
- Possess a full, current UK driving licence or have access to a form of transport which enables them to fulfil the full requirements of the job.
