Care Assistant

About the role

We're recruiting Care Assistants for a care home in Belfast that supports a wide mix of residents.

The home cares for older people, people living with dementia, adults with learning disabilities and people with physical disabilities, as well as providing end-of-life care. If you enjoy variety and want to broaden your experience, this is a great place to do it.

Shifts are flexible, and you'll have a dedicated Bond consultant to support you from your first shift.

Key responsibilities

• Help residents with personal care, dressing and continence care, always protecting their dignity
• Support mobility and moving and handling, using hoists and equipment where needed
• Assist at mealtimes and encourage residents to eat and drink well
• Spend time with residents, encouraging conversation and activities
• Record care accurately and report any changes to the nurse in charge

What you’ll need

Applicants must have:

• At least 6 months of UK care assistant experience gained within the past 2 years
• Experience providing personal care and using hoisting equipment
• The legal right to work in the UK
