We’re recruiting Support Workers for a 46-bed residential care home in Dungannon, supporting older people, people living with dementia and adults with physical disabilities.
About the role
We’re recruiting Support Workers for a 46-bed residential care home in Dungannon, supporting older people, people living with dementia and adults with physical disabilities.
Day, night and weekend shifts are available, you’ll be paid weekly, and you’ll have a dedicated Bond consultant to support you from your first shift.
Key responsibilities
- Support residents with personal care, mobility and daily living, always protecting their dignity
- Encourage independence, choice and involvement in activities
- Assist at mealtimes and with residents’ wellbeing
- Record care accurately and report any changes to the senior on shift
What you’ll need
- A minimum of 6 months’ experience working as a support worker in the UK
- An NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care or an equivalent qualification
- A caring, compassionate and professional approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A commitment to safeguarding and providing high-quality care
- A valid driving licence and access to a car are preferred
- Registered, or willing to register, with the Northern Ireland Social Care Council (NISCC)
- Access NI check (we arrange this for free)
- Right to work in the UK
